Dashboard User Guide

The Calyntro Dashboard is your central hub for exploring the health and evolution of your software project. This guide explains how to navigate the interface and use its features effectively.

Navigation & Filtering

The top bar of the dashboard provides global controls that affect all analysis views.

1. Analysis Selector: Choose the specific metric or analysis you want to perform (e.g., “Hotspots Trends”, “Code Churn”, “Commits”).

2. Module Filter: Narrow down the analysis to a specific architectural component or module.

3. Date Range:

   • Start/End Date: Defines the primary time window for the analysis.

   • Baseline Date: (Visible only for Trend analyses) Defines the start of the comparison period.

Tip

Your filter settings (Date Range) are automatically saved to your session, so you don’t lose your context when switching between different analysis types.

Views

Calyntro currently provides a detailed table view for exploring your code analysis results.

1. Table View

The default view. It provides a detailed, sortable list of all files or modules matching your criteria.

• Sort: Click on any column header to sort by that metric.

• Quick Actions: * Eye Icon: Opens a quick summary panel on the right. * External Link Icon: Opens a full-screen modal with detailed file history and metrics.
